Six Brothers Novel 523
For Alice, memories related to fire were not very pleasant.
After Alice woke up Mary and Lana, she ran outside and smashed the fire alarm, instantly a sharp sound echoed throughout the entire dormitory building.
Lana supported Mary with a wet towel and handed a wet towel to Alice, saying, "Let's go."
Alice took the towel and said, "You go with Mary first, I will go knock on each door."
"This was very dangerous."
"Hurry up, I knew my
limits."
Alice turned and ran over to knock on the door, certain that someone had not heard.
She ran all the way to the top floor and informed everyone.
But when she was ready to go down, she found that the stairwell was blocked by thick smoke and there was also a wave of heat coming towards her, with no idea what was happening downstairs.
There were several girls around Alice, their voices sounding tearful, "What should we do?"
"I didn't want to die yet."
Alice confirmed the direction of the fire and spoke, "We all hid in the farthest room, turned on the water, and took out the sheets to tear them up and make them into knots."
With Alice as the backbone, everyone quickly calmed down.
Soon, the fire truck arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.
Alice took a glance and busily joined everyone in turning the bedsheet into a rope, so that everyone could go down.
Someone put a mat downstairs.
Nathan stood downstairs, watching Alice and shouting, "I am watching from below, I will come down immediately."
Alice looked at the girls in the dormitory and said, "One by one, come down. He is
a bodyguard, in case you let go, he can also catch you."
Alice stood alone at the back, she had more strength and could control the speed at which everyone fell.
Until the last girl went down, the bedsheet couldn't bear the friction and snapped direct!
The girls downstairs exclaimed in surprise one after another.
Mary and Lana were in a panic downstairs: "What should we do? How is Alice going to come down?"
The girls who were saved cried directly. If it weren't for Alice, they would still be trapped upstairs.
Nathan glanced at Mary and said, "I'll
go up
and get
her."

The man walked downstairs, preparing to climb the wall barehanded.
The roar of the helicopter resounded.noveldrama
Everyone looked up.
Alice stood on the balcony of her dormitory and naturally saw the helicopter. She had just been thinking about how to escape, and she didn't expect the fire department to use a helicopter.
The night was dark, and only the helicopter could be seen lowering a long ladder. A man descended from above, appearing in front of Alice.
When Alice saw that incredibly handsome face, her heartbeat slowed down for a moment.
Was it really Jack?
How did he come?
Alice saw the man still wearing a shirt and suit pants, clearly having rushed over without enough time to change clothes.
Jack stood on the ladder, approaching from the darkness of the night.
His facial features were calm as he reached out his hand towards her, saying, "Come with me."
Alice admitted at that moment, she was truly touched.
After all, she had always disliked fire.
She turned over the balcony and sat on it, extending her hand directly.
The man, however, stepped forward and embraced her waist, his strong hands firmly protecting
her.
"Hold me tight, hold on tight.".
His voice came from above, Alice's feet stepped on the ladder, her hands tightly
wrapped around his waist, and her cheek pressed against his chest.
Alice heard the roar of the helicopter in her ears, along with the sound of everyone cheering.
She knew that she was safe.
She looked up at the dormitory building, and the last flicker of fire had already been extinguished.
Alice, however, felt as if her brain had been fiercely stabbed, causing her to feel so much ŋain that she almost fainted.
Jack noticed Alice's strangeness and asked, "What's wrong?"
"No, nothing. Just felt a bit dizzy, probably got choked by the smoke."
Alice made a hissing sound and her head started to throb spasmodically.
Jack frowned and looked up at the person in the helicopter, saying, "Go to the hospital, quickly."
Alice actually wanted to stop Jack from going to the hospital, she didn't have anything major

going on.
But then she immediately lost consciousness.
Jack noticed that Alice fainted, and he exerted all his strength to hold onto her, so she wouldn't fall.
His injured arm split open again, spewing out fresh blood, staining his white shirt
red.
But at this time, his heart was full of Alice, and he couldn't care about anything else.

The helicopter quickly landed on the rooftop of the Wilson Hospital, which is under the Wilson Group. The medical team had been waiting here.
Jack held Alice and put her in the stroller, saying, "She fainted and complained of a headache."
The dean spoke, "Take the person to the emergency room."
Jack pulled the dean, his voice trembling slightly, "She was afraid of fire, probably due to inhaling harmful gas, and she also had psychological trauma."
"Understood, first check for physical issues, then look into psychological problems. As for you, your arm has split open again? Hurry and go get it checked,
so as to avoid any lasting effects." The dean finished speaking and left, without any time to pay attention to Jack.
Jack only then noticed that the blood stained his clothes.
The secretary
"No need."
hurried over and said, "Mr. Wilson, please go and get yourself bandaged first."
"Ms. Welch couldn't come out for a while. If she knew that you hadn't been tending to your wound, she would feel guilty and worried."
Jack left straight away, without refusing.
The secretary quickly arranged for someone to come and attend to the injury on
Jack's arm.
Jack sat outside the emergency room, waiting.
It felt like each day was dragging on forever.
Soon, Andrew rushed over in his pajamas, with a coat on the outside.
Andrew scratched his messy hair and said, "Is Alice okay? Nathan called me and
asked me to come over and check on her."
Jack's arm had been taken care of, and he leaned back in the chair, saying,
"There is no external injury, but the specifics are unclear."
"I heard that someone fainted, possibly from being scared. Don't worry unnecessarily."
Andrew was also scared along the way and finally sat on a bench, saying, "Let's wait, I think everything will be fine."
Not long after, the Welch family emerged from the elevator in a grand manner.

Alex walked in front, he looked at Jack and asked, "How was Alice?"
Jack spoke lightly, "No external injuries, possibly just scared and still undergoing examination.” Caleb immediately held his chest, "I was so scared, but I'm glad I wasn't hurt."

But Alex still frowned, "Not having any external injuries doesn't necessarily mean everything is fine. The particles carried by the smoke from the fire are toxic, and if inhaled in large quantities, they can also cause harm to the human body."
Andrew looked over."You can't say that, Alice isn't that foolish, she would definitely take precautions."
Alex replied, "I was just analyzing it, I didn't want this to happen more
than
anyone
else."
At that moment, the door of the emergency room opened.
The dean came out and said, "Her physical examination revealed no major
issues, but she inhaled some harmful gases and needs medication to clean her lungs."
Alex spoke up immediately after listening, "I wanted to take her away."
"No."
Jack stood up; his eyes were cold.
