Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 392

"Damn it, how can you still be asleep? How did I end up with such a worthless piece of trash like you? Our family must be cursed to produce someone like you. I'll tear you apart!"

Under the influence of sedatives, Brad remained oblivious to Daniel's fury. He was still asleep when Daniel struck him with the pillow.

On the other hand, Jean was the first to awaken. Shaken by the sight of the enraged Daniel standing by the bed, she quickly pulled the covers around herself, huddled in the corner, and began to cry softly.

She wiped away nonexistent tears, feeling a sense of grim satisfaction. The whole Hamilton family knew about her and Brad's affair; surely, Nadine would never take Brad back now.

When Daniel struck Brad with the pillow a second time, Brad finally opened his eyes. Still dazed and disoriented, he propped himself up on the bed and looked at Daniel with irritation. "Dad, what on earth has made you so angry? What did I do to upset you?"

Last night, he had experienced severe chest pains. After taking medication, he fell asleep without realizing what had happened. Waking up to being hit left him indignant. "Dad, could you at least give me a proper reason before you hit me?"

Brad couldn't understand why Daniel was hitting him, even though he was now an adult.

Daniel's rage led him to act out of character, especially after seeing Brad and Jean in the same bed.

"Can't you see why I'm hitting you? If you were alone in bed, would I be doing this? You disgraceful wretch! How could our family produce someone like you!"

If Daniel hadn't noticed Brad's pale and weakened state, he would have struck him a few more times to vent his frustration on behalf of Nadine.

It was only then that Brad noticed Jean huddled in the corner of the bed, crying softly. At first, he mistook her for Nadine.

Brad roared at Daniel in frustration, "I was just sleeping with my own wife! What's the problem with that? I don't see any disgrace in being with my wife!"

He was at his wit's end. The night before, he had experienced sharp chest pains and seemed to be given medication in a daze. His eyelids were heavy he couldn't open them, and though he wasn't sure who was taking care of him, he felt the hands were very gentle and thought he heard Nadine's voice.

He had dismissed it as a hallucination at the time, assuming it was Nadine.

As Daniel questioned him, he had assumed the person in bed with him was Nadine

Daniel frowned deeply. He glanced at Jean, who was tightly wrapped in the blanket, then at Brad, who oked

disheveled and confused. Fora

moment, he was stunned.

He couldn't understand how Brad had mistaken Jean for Nadine, or if he had

perhaps misunderstood the situation.

Holding the pillow, Daniel faced his son, who was significantly taller than him, and asked, "Do you know who this is?"

Brad followed Daniel's gaze and

finally saw that the person wrapped in the blanket was not Nadine.

Fearing he had made a mistake, he circled the bed to stand in front ofnoveldrama

Jean. He looked at her with intense

eyes and asked, "Jeanie, why are you here?"
