Noelle stood outside by the window, getting some fresh air.

"Noelle, don't let this upset you too much. The news has spread throughout Yasnia's legal circles, and no one would take on a case like Maple Enterprise Corporation's. That's just how it is."

Xenia arrived late, accompanied by Justin. They were here to watch the spectacle.

Noelle turned and saw Xenia dressed in a sultry outfit. Her lips twitched.

With heavy makeup and a form-fitting dress, Xenia looked less appealing than when she had dressed more innocently. She seemed to be trying too hard.

Justin wrapped his arm around Xenia's waist and flaunted it before Noelle. "Noelle, I warned you before this is Yasnia. If you're here, you'd better know your place. You'll never win against us."

"Yeah, Noelle, you should just drop the lawsuit. It'll be even more humiliating for you If you lose badly."

Noelle sneered. "Who says I'm dropping the lawsuit?"

"You can't even find a lawyer. If you don't withdraw, you'll only embarrass yourself further!"

Before Xenia could say more, Liam walked over.

When Justin saw Liam, his eyes lit up. "Mr. Rodrick, what are you doing here? Does the Greene family have a case?"

Liam answered politely, "Not at all. I'm here to handle a case at someone's request."

Noticing Justin's respect toward the lawyer, Xenia quietly asked, "Who is he?"

"This is Liam, known as the 'The Legal Executioner' in the legal world. He's the lead attorney for the Greene family. He doesn't take many cases, so it's rare to see him in court."

Xenia's eyes widened in surprise. So, Liam was not only famous but also connected to the powerful Greene family.

Noelle turned and handed the documents to Liam. "These are the materials I've prepared. Please take a look."

After all, she didn't realize that Liam was handling her case earlier. It seemed Alfred's connections were quite impressive.

Xenia slapped the documents from Noelle's hand. "Noelle, have you no shame? Do you think you can hand him your materials just because you heard this is a famous lawyer?

"Stop embarrassing the Liddell family!"

The documents were scattered across the floor.

Justin sneered. "Noelle, I know you're desperate because you can't find a lawyer, but can't you see who Liam is?

Before Xenia could continue, she saw Donovan and his group walking out.

Her tone changed immediately. "Noelle, I know you're desperate to win the lawsuit, but you can't force Liam to take on such a minor case. He doesn't even know you, that's very rude."

Noelle slapped her across the face. "The rude one here is you!"

Who allowed Xenia to make such a fuss here?

Xenia's face twisted in shock at the sudden slap. She quickly threw herself into Justin's arms, crying.

Justin immediately became protective. "Noelle, how dare you hit someone in public? Don't you know this is a courthouse?"

Donovan walked over. "What happened?"

Xenia, eyes brimming with tears, said, "Donovan, please don't blame Noelle. I know she's anxious to win, so she shamelessly handed her materials to Liam, hoping to get the famous lawyer to take her case.

"I was just trying to stop her, but she hit me."

Though Xenia claimed she didn't blame Noelle, she exposed her swollen face from the slap.

Donovan glanced at the handprint and was about to slap Noelle back. "Look at what you've done!"

Noelle punched his hand away, causing him to wince from the pain.

Xenia rushed forward. "Noelle, what are you doing... ah!"

Noelle retaliated, slapping Xenia again. She was fed up with Xenia's annoying tactics.

"Get off my materials, or get lost if you don't want to get hurt!"

Xenia's face instantly swelled up, and she screamed, "Noelle, it was you who shamelessly handed your materials to Mr. Rodrick! You have no shame!"

Liam adjusted his glasses. "Actually, I'm her attorney."
