I am sitting outside in the garden when I can smell Madeleine getting closer. I

smile when I hear her enter the house and walk in to meet her.

It has been four months since she and Noah took over the pack duties, and they have both been doing great.noveldrama

"Hey, Madeleine." I greet her and smile at her.

"Hey, am I disturbing?" she asks, and I shake my head.

"No, not at all. Come sit." I tell her, and we go into the kitchen where I find us something to drink.

"I wanted to show you these, some suggestions for laws regarding the orphans." She says, and I smile.

I know this is not just something new for her. Her mother had told me she had helped at the orphanage in France. So she has, for a long time, seen how orphans can get treated.

I take the papers and look at them, and I can't help smiling as I do. It is clear she has put a lot of work and research into this.

"Madeleine, this looks very good, but it will be a lot of work. If the Goal is an Orphanage, in each state or region, there should be two unscheduled visits to make sure it is running as planned. I would love to say we can trust the pack's leaders. But sadly, the way packs look at the orphans often comes from the leaders." I tell her, and she nods her head.

"I thought of that. We can open up a job for people we know can be trusted. Here, from the royal pack, at least to begin with. Over time, we can maybe open up for this job other places. But these getting this job should be the ones sent out on the unscheduled visits." She says, and I can't stop smiling. It is easy to see she has thought it through.

"I like it, and it is a good, well-thought-out idea and plan," I tell her, and she smiles.

"You think so?" She asks.

"I do. I never doubted you, Madeleine. I always knew you would do well." I tell her, and she blushes, and I sense that something is bothering her.

"Ask me, and I can see something is on your mind," I tell her, and she looks a bit sad.

"You know I was just in heat. And I did not get pregnant, and this time, I didn't get the injections to prevent it. Dr. Kendra says it can sometimes take a long time to get pregnant after the injections. But it's never happened for high ranked wolves before. What if there is something wrong with me?” She says, looking worried. I take her hand and squeeze it softly.

"Madeleine, some wolves can go a long time before it happens, even without the I sections. It will happen when your body is ready. You have to trust in that." I tell her, and she nods her head.

"Thank you." She says and hugs me.

Madeleine stayed for a while, and I can't help think about that it is the first time I talk like this with her. And after talking, I got to really see who the girl Noah fell in love with was. And I couldn't be any happier for them.

I felt better after talking with Olivia and knew I could not spend my time being sad. Olivia was right, and I will get pregnant when the time is right.

I began working on my proposal for orphanages and how to make sure they will be run in the right way. I want to change the way orphans are looked at so they can have good lives without being judged for

whatever their parents might have done or for being alone.

Sometimes, orphans even get killed because of the evil that their family might have done. And some orphans even get killed for their parents' crimes. And I want to stop that, once and for all, and make our world a safer place for those who have no one.

Just look at sweet Alina, she was lucky that Alpha Carter protected her. Lucky, he had not continued the way his father had done things.

Her dad had tried to kill Alpha Carter, and her mother killed herself when her dad was killed for treason. The rest of her family didn't want to have anything to do with the girl, so Carter took her in.

But look at her now, living with

Juliette and Gina, feeling the love of caring parents. And I knew they would give her a happy and bright future. And look at Anna Matt's mate, she was human but grew up in this pack. Dr. Kendra and Dr. Joseph found her after her family had been killed by rouges. And they chose to keep her and raise her as

their own, along with their son.

I take a deep breath and tell myself that everything will be okay. And when the

time is right, Noah and I will be parents.
